An exhibition "Azerbaijan - Land of Fire" will be arranged in the Berlin Ethnology Museum (from late August until November of this year) and Drezden Ethnology Museum (from November, 2008 until March 2009) in the framework of the year of Azerbaijan in Germany.
The press service for the Ministry of Tourism and Culture told Day.Az that authorized officials of the Ministry and the state art museum of Azerbaijan were sent to Berlin due to the organization of the exhibition.
The exhibition will feature expositions from the majority of Azerbaijani museums, including patterns of material culture, carpets, musical instruments, ancient manuscripts, miniatures, national costumes, works of applied art and so on.
The exhibition opening ceremony will be held at the Berlin ethnology museum with participation of a delegation of the Museum of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan on August 26.
