The World Economic Forum has released Travel&Tourism Competitiveness Report 2008.

Day.Az reports that Azerbaijan took the 79th position with 3.72 points.

Our country took the 62nd position with 4.49 points in the rating "State regulation and legislation", 79th with 3.24 points in infrastructure and business climate and 105th with 3.44 points in society and cultural heritage.

Switzerland, followed by Austria and Germany, is leading on the list of countries.

It should be noted that the travel and tourism competitiveness index is formed on basis of the following factors: travel and tourism regulation, business climate of travel and tourism and infrastructure, natural, human and culture resources.
